| Plantation Shutters are available in: (Please click to see detail.) |
|
Millenium blinds manufactures in Sydney the Basswood Cedar and Aluminum Plantation shutters with the traditional aero foil 89 mm blades.
We also import plantation shutters that are available in Fauxwood and Basswood.
They are available in an aero foil blade either 63mm 89mm or the 114mm blade.
The Millenium blinds plantation shutters is our own design working on a cog system which never needs to be tightened. It allows the blades to move with no tilt bar or traditional stick in the front of the plantation shutter.
The Imported plantation shutter is more traditional with either the hidden tilt bar or the stick in the middle or on either side as per customers’ request.
Locally made shutters can be made a lot quicker that the imported shutters and repairs can be made within a day.

| Millenium Blinds Shutters offer a range of finishes: |
| |
Painted Shutters are painted with five coats of two part polyurethane paint, which are hand sanded between coats.
Two part polyurethane is the favoured paint of the boat building industry due to its colour brilliance, durability and resistance to cracking and peeling. These qualities make the paint an ideal selection to withstand the heat UV Rays in Australian windows.

Image Timber Grain Shutters
|
| |
By reproducing Jarrah Image, Cedar Image and Oak Image grains, our image products provide the warmth and characteristics of timber.
The image finish has been laboratory tested and fading is not visible to the naked eye.
As the finish is applied wet and forms to the sections, it will not peel or crack. The Image finish provides a consistent look across all sections of timber, eliminating any mismatching resulting from varying undertones in the raw material.
Millenium Blinds Shutters do not recommend the use of stained shutters, and therefore are not offering such a product.
